The Santa Barbara Symphony is pleased to welcome Anais Pellegrini as Vice President of Advancement.

“We are excited to welcome Anais to the Symphony family,” stated Symphony Executive Director Kevin A. Marvin.  “She is a proven development professional with strong roots in Santa Barbara.  With her strong love of the arts and commitment to provide the best live classical musical performance in the region, she is a welcomed addition to our team.”

Anais Pellegrini began her career in fundraising at the Katonah Museum of Art (N.Y.) in 2005, and has since worked for a range of non-profit organizations. A Santa Barbara resident for over ten years, Anais is proud to have served as Associate Regional Director for the Anti-Defamation League’s Tri-Counties office; as Associate Director of Development for the Granada Theatre; Director of Development for the Community Environmental Council, and most recently, Director of Development at Dream Foundation. She has held volunteer leadership roles on the boards of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, as well as the Santa Barbara Education Foundation. She is currently a Board Member at Girls Rock Santa Barbara and the Santa Barbara Education Foundation.

A generalist in the Development field, Anais has a passion for connecting both individual and corporate funders with resonant causes and creating tailored engagement plans to build meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility programs.  Anais is thrilled to take on the role of VP of Advancement for the SB Symphony to secure funding for this vital and venerable community cultural resource. Of special interest to her is advocating for the beauty and joy of live symphonic music to the next generation of music lovers.

Born in Malta and raised in China, Australia and Hong Kong, Anais has a deep interest in what strengthens and enriches lives and communities, and is honored to be a part of the non-profit sector in Santa Barbara. She is a mother to two daughters, Talia (7) and Lena (5), who attend Peabody Charter School.
