The Santa Barbara Symphony Chorus

The Santa Barbara Symphony Chorus has quickly established itself as a vibrant ensemble within Santa Barbara’s choral community, bringing together approximately 100 singers from all over the region. Now in its second season, they represent a rich spectrum of musical backgrounds and experience. Under the direction of Music & Artistic Director Nir Kabaretti, The Symphony Chorus exemplifies artistic collaboration at its highest level, showcasing the depth of talent and shared passion that defines the community.

Experience the Power of Voices United

The Santa Barbara Symphony Chorus returns to the spotlight for a monumental performance at the 26/27 Season Finale: Mahler’s Resurrection on May 16–17, 2026—a transcendent work that brings orchestra, chorus, and soloists together in an awe-inspiring celebration of life and renewal. Don’t miss these two landmark events.

“Santa Barbara is blessed with several outstanding community and collegiate choral ensembles. The  Symphony aims to unite singers throughout this vibrant choral community, creating new opportunities for those who may or may not belong to an existing chorus. Together, we’ll form one powerful ensemble, bring Brahms’ masterpiece and more to life!”
