Featuring Conductor Stuart Malina and Madison Claire Parks on Vocals in a Broadway-meets-Hollywood Themed Program
Honorary Conductor Sponsor Dr. Bob Weinman Returns to Lead a Rousing Piece
The Santa Barbara Symphony invites the community to channel the glamour of old Hollywood and the energy of Broadway at the ‘biggest & best’ musical New Year’s Eve party on Wednesday, December 31, 2025, from 8:30 – 10:00 pm at the opulent Granada Theatre. Single tickets start at $65. Group discounts start at 20% (for 10 or more), and Symphony subscribers enjoy an exclusive 20% discount.
Under the buoyant baton of guest conductor Stuart Malina and high-energy vocals of Madison Claire Parks, New Year’s Eve with The Symphony promises a glittering evening of Broadway-meets-Hollywood charm. Audiences will delight in the heart of American musical storytelling, through lush orchestral arrangements, beloved show tunes, and some more contemporary cinematic scores.
The festivities also include complimentary champagne, party hats and noisemakers, and a heartwarming Auld Lang Syne sing-along to close the evening. Symphony board member, Dr. Bob Weinman, returns as Honorary Conductor Sponsor to lead the orchestra on “Seventy-six Trombones”, a popular show tune and the signature song from the 1957 musical The Music Man, by Meredith Willson. From Rodgers & Hammerstein’s sweeping Carousel Waltz to Bernstein’s electrifying Overture to West Side Story to John Williams’ Academy Award-winning score: Adventures on Earth, from the film E.T., this concert brings the golden age of Broadway and Hollywood center stage.
“New Year’s Eve with The Symphony is fast becoming a Santa Barbara tradition,” shared Santa Barbara Symphony President & CEO Kathryn R. Martin. “This evening is all about joy and connection. It’s a chance for our community to come together, raise a glass, and let the music carry us into the new year with energy and hope.”
