Fueling Artistic Collaboration

Fueling Artistic Collaboration

The Santa Barbara Symphony is fueling the arts ecosystem and we are proud to be an artistic resource to other organizations while also introducing new audiences to symphonic music. Under the collaborative artistic direction of Maestro Nir Kabaretti, and with the expertise of the orchestral musicians, the Santa Barbara Symphony believes in the expansiveness of symphonic music by engaging in diverse musical genres.

In 2023/24 we were proud to be engaged by State Street Ballet, the Granada Theatre and Doublewide Kings.  Through commissions of new works, world premieres and artistic collaborations, “Only in Santa Barbara” programs shine the spotlight on our community as Nir’s symphonic programming provides a wide range of “entry points” for lovers of diverse musical genres.
