Chris joined the Symphony board of directors in 2014 and currently serves as treasurer. He is an audit and advisory partner with Hutchinson & Bloodgood, who moved to Santa Barbara in 2012 after spending more than 12 years with PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP in Los Angeles. He received his Bachelor of the Arts in Economics and Accounting degree from Claremont McKenna College. He is a member of the California Society of Certified Public Accountants and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
Chris has a passion for serving the nonprofit industry both in a professional and personal capacity. In addition to his role with the Symphony, he serves as board president for C.A.R.E.4Paws and Alpha Resource Center of Santa Barbara. He serves as vice president for the Santa Barbara Running Association. He also is a member of the advisory board member for Claremont McKenna College’s Athletics Department.
Chris can usually be found on the beach at sunset with his pup, Lulu, and is also a passionate cyclist who enjoys an occasional competitive event.
