Santa Barbara Symphony Youth Ensembles
2024-2025 Audition Information
As the only youth orchestra program in the region connected to a professional symphony orchestra and a college, and under the artistic oversight of Music & Artistic Director Nir Kabaretti, The Symphony’s multi-level Youth Ensembles program provides young musicians with unique opportunities to develop their skills and connect with music and each other in a welcoming and supportive environment. Rehearsing weekly on Sundays from September to May, Youth Ensembles musicians learn to collaborate, lead and progress on their instruments and perform in three public concerts each year. As part of their curriculum, students also attend Santa Barbara Symphony open rehearsals and performances.
