Violinist Steve Zander joined the Santa Barbara Symphony in 2012. Additionally, he serves as the Associate Concertmaster of Opera Santa Barbara, and has also performed with the Pasadena Symphony, New West Symphony, Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, and Pacific Symphony. Steve can be heard on many motion picture soundtracks, including A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place II, Batman vs. Superman, and Logan. He lives in Malibu with his wife, Maia, and their dachshund mix, Winston. Steve is also an avid distance runner, and loves to spend his free time hiking and exploring remote places like Patagonia, New Zealand, and southern Utah.
